A Book Club delay and mea culpa

Thanks to everyone who listened to Episode 0 of the Idle Book Club. We really loved recording it and we’re really excited to dig into our first real book selections. On that introductory podcast, we said the podcast would release on the first Friday of each month. We still mean that to be true going forward, but for Episode 1 featuring Julian Barnes’ The Sense of an Ending, we’ll be a week late.

As it turns out, we needed a bit more time than one week to turn out a full episode—and we’re still feeling out the format and vibe. There’s a reason (well, several reasons) this cast is monthly rather than weekly. So look for Episode 1 on Friday, September 14.
